A bilateral meeting was held on 24 January 2013 between ANACOM and the Polish communications regulator (Office of Electronic Communications - UKE) to exchange regulatory experience at national level in both countries, and to strengthen cooperation in participation in European and international bodies.
The following topics were addressed at the meeting: market regulation, investment in next generation networks and the new draft European Commission recommendation on non-discrimination and costing methodologies, rights of way, infrastructure registries, switchover from analogue to digital, auctioning of spectrum in the 800 MHz band, cooperation with the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) and matters relating to the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
