By determination of 15 February 2013, ANACOM has approved a draft decision on the proposal to amend the universal postal service tariff, following notification received from CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT).
The proposed amendment concerns the prices charged by CTT, since June 2010, for the services of postal parcels up to 10 kg in weight and correspondence up to 2 Kg, including registered and insured mail, within the scope of the universal postal service.
This draft decision was submitted to the prior hearing of CTT and to public consultation, giving notice of this procedure to general interest consumer associations. In both cases, a period of 20 days working is provided for interested parties to comment, ending on 15 March 2013.

Once the consultation process has been concluded, the contributions received will be made public, whereby interested parties should also submit a non-confidential version of their responses excluding items considered confidential for the purposes of publication on this website.
This present decision and price proposal presented by CTT were also submitted to an opinion of ANACOM's Advisory Council pursuant to and for the purposes of point c) of article 37 of ANACOM's statutes
