The Communications Committee met last 3 June in Brussels to continue discussing the proposed recommendation on non-discrimination and costing methods. The Committee will take a position on possible adoption of that proposal at the next meeting on 11 July. The European Commission (EC) reported that the regulation on measures applicable to personal data infringements under the Privacy Directive had passed the scrutiny phase, with no objections expressed by the European Parliament and the Council.
