Complaints received by ANACOM in 2012


ANACOM received 80,883 complaints in 2012, representing an increase of 8 percent compared to 2011. The vast majority (74 percent) were related to the electronic communications sector.

The Internet access service gave rise to the largest number of complaints per thousand customers, followed by the subscription television service and fixed telephone service. The subjects most cited in complaints were contract terms, cancellation of the service, equipment, billing and faults.
