Draft decision on the methodology for establishing and reviewing reference speeds associated to coverage obligations in the 800 MHz band

By determination of 12 December 2013, ANACOM approved a draft decision on the methodology for establishing and reviewing reference speeds associated to coverage obligations in the 800 MHz band, as well as on the corresponding information obligations, as well as on the methodology for assessing compliance with coverage obligations and the corresponding information obligations, for the purposes of paragraphs 6 and 7 of article 34 of Regulation No. 560-A/2011, of 19 October (Auction Regulation providing for the allocation of rights of use of frequencies in the 450 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2.1 GHz and 2.6 GHz bands).

It was decided to submit this draft decision to the prior hearing of Vodafone Portugal, TMN and Optimus, under articles 100 et seq. of the Administrative Procedure Code, as well as to the general consultation procedure provided for in article 8 of the Electronic Communications Law (Law No. 5/2004, of 10 February, as republished by Law No. 51/2011, of 13 September), having been established in both situations a 20-working day time-limit for interested parties to assess the subject.
