Final decision on methodology for establishing and reviewing reference speeds associated with coverage obligations in the 800 MHz band

By determination of 21 March 2014, ANACOM has approved the final decision on the methodology for establishing and reviewing reference speeds associated with coverage obligations in the 800 MHz band and on the corresponding obligations of information, and also on the methodology for verifying compliance with coverage obligations and corresponding information requirements, for the purposes of paragraphs  6 to 7 of article 34 of Regulation no. 560-A/2011 of 19 October (Regulation governing the auction for the allocation of rights of use of frequencies in the 450, 800, 900, 1800 MHz and 2.1 GHz and 2.6 GHz bands).

Likewise, approval has also been given to the report on the public consultation and hearing to which the corresponding draft decision (determination of 12 December 2013) was submitted.  During the course of these procedures, contributions were received from MEO, Vodafone and Zon Optimus (on behalf of its subsidiaries Optimus and Zon TV Cabo Portugal).
