A team from ANACOM will be on site at the UEFA Champions League Final, being played on 24 May 2014 at Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, in Lisbon. Working from a marked mobile post, ANACOM will be providing support to all operators and users of electronic communications networks at the event and will monitor and oversee radio transmissions.
ANACOM's presence at the final is crucial, since any improper or non-compliant use of networks or stations could interfere with international broadcasting and jeopardize the event's success - this would reflect badly on the organisers and damage Portugal's reputation as host country.
ANACOM will also be sending teams to the following events: "Rock in Rio" (25 May - 1 June, Parque da Bela Vista, Lisbon); "The ECB Forum on Central Banking" (25-27 May, Penha Longa, Sintra; "UEFA Women's Champions League Final" (22 May, Estádio do Restelo, Lisbon).
