As part of ''ITU Telecom World 2014'', which will take place from 7 to 10 December 2014, in Doha, Qatar, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is promoting the annual ''ITU Telecom World: Young Innovators Competition''. The goal of the competition is to find the best startups among the next generation of entrepreneurs in the area of information and communication technologies (ICT) benefiting the development of society.
The competition is aimed at young entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 30 years, who are invited to present projects on "local digital content" which inspire creativity, aggregation and digitalisation of dynamic local content.
Entrants to the competition should complete the application form available on the official "ITU Telecom World: Young Innovators Competition'' website by 30 May.
