The Prague University Library served as venue last 28-29 April for an ITU Academy Symposium devoted to 'Support for Innovation and Partnerships in Human Capacity-Building: valuing academic commitments to the work of the International Telecommunication Union'. It especially focused on resolutions made at the 2014 World Telecommunications Development Conference (WTDC 14) in Dubai, which are meant to encourage better distribution of training opportunities.
A new paradigm and strategy for the ITU Excellence Centres was presented; ARCTEL participated, including representatives from higher education.
