Portugal's review and assessment report on the functioning of market surveillance activities has been published, in accordance with article 18, paragraph 6 of Regulation (EC) No 765/2008 of 9 July 2008.
Under this Regulation, the responsibility for market surveillance in Portugal as regards some of the products covered by EU harmonisation legislation is assigned to eight authorities, of which ANACOM is one.
This document prepared by DGAE - Direção Geral das Atividades Económicas (General Directorate for Economic Activities), includes a list of the various sectors concerned, as well as the actions taken by the country's border authorities.
