The public consultation on legal problems in e-Business, introduced by European Commission?s Enterprise Directorate General, runs until 7 November 2003. In the scope of 
eEurope2005 Action Plan* and the European Council conclusions of 20/21 March 2003, stressing the need for exchanging experience in the field of e-business, this consultation intends to collect feedback on experiences already developed and to identify still existing barriers or new legal problems associated to electronic business activities.
The results of this consultation will be analysed at High-level Conference, to be organized in March/April 2004, helping to reach the community?s ambitious goal outlined in Lisbon, in 2000: the Union to become the world?s most competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy.
