Brussels hosted last 4-5 December the 21st plenary meeting of the BEREC Board of Regulators (BoR) and the BEREC Management Committee.
The following documents were approved for publication, among others: i) BEREC working programme for 2015; ii) BEREC strategy for the 2015-2017 period; iii) revision of the BoR's rules of procedure; iv) new structure of the BEREC working groups. The national regulatory authorities (NRAs) of Poland (UKE - Office of Electronic Communications), Ireland (ComReg - Commission for Communications Regulation) and Germany (BNetzA - Bundesnetzagentur) were elected as vice-chairs for 2015, along with the chair for 2016, the NRA BNetzA.
The General Assembly of the Independent Regulators Group (IRG) was also held on the mornings of 4-5 December 2014. Highlights included the presentation of its 2014 Action Plan, the spending report and approval of the 2015 working programme. The vice-chairs for 2015 and the chair for 2016 were also elected.
