The plenary meeting of the European Eastern Partnership (EaP) Regulators Group was held in Prague last 11-12 December. As a group observer, ANACOM took part given that it chairs BEREC in 2015.
Highlights of the main topics debated included the discussion on the group’s future and sustainability (internal organisation) due to the end of the European Commission's current financial support framework. The 2015 working programme was approved and cooperation with BEREC discussed, with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and the definition of effective forms of middle term cooperation.
In 2015 this group's chair will be held by the national regulatory authority (NRA) from Georgia, the Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC). The vice-chair will be held by the Swedish regulator, the Swedish Post and Telecom Agency (PTS).
