Cooperation Agreement between ICP-ANACOM and the National Competition Authority


On 26 September 2003, a cooperation agreement was signed between ICP-ANACOM and the National Competition Authority, represented by the respective presidents.

This agreement aims at rendering easy the cooperation between these two authorities as regards the compliance with the respective functions, according to the powers conferred upon them by law, with the purpose of avoiding the duplication of work and ensuring the coherence between the decisions or measures taken.

The agreement now formalized shall be in force for a three-year period, and automatically extended for successive and equal amounts of time, based on the interest of the parties, which is to be assessed on a yearly basis.
