BEREC held a workshop on analysis of oligopolies and regulation on 25 February in Berne, Switzerland. The initiative was open to the public and attended by more than 150 participants, representatives from various stakeholders. Highlights among the issues discussed were the emergence of oligopolies in both the fixed and mobile markets and the debate about existing regulatory tools, specifically whether they are suitable for dealing with potential joint dominance.
