The first workshop of the Euro-Mediterranean Regulators Group (EMERG) working group on national regulatory authority (NRA) powers with respect to gathering of information from market operators (powers associated to data collection, control action procedures, sanction measures, etc) took place last 15-16 June in Lisbon.
The participants included representatives from the NRAs of Croatia, Egypt, Germany, Israel, Italy, Palestine, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain and Tunisia. Data previously collected via a long questionnaire to the EMERG NRAs served as basis for the work. This group will next produce a report on results obtained in this area and on best practices to implement in the future. The report should be discussed at the Contact Network meeting and submitted for approval in the plenary session.
