The Postal Directive Committee held a meeting last 11 June in Brussels, which focused on discussing initiatives planned by the European Commission (EC) in the communication on the digital single market (DSM) with respect to parcel delivery. Also presented were several preliminary conclusions from the fifth report on implementation of the Postal Directive; the subject of postal statistics was also discussed.
