ECTA 2015 Conference - Brussels


The ECTA Conference was held on 30 June in Brussels, with the theme of “Writing Digital History: game changer policies for a connected Digital Single Market”. Among the participants was BEREC Chair Fátima Barros.

Her presentation focused on the digital single market and the strategy presented by the European Commission, as well as on points being discussed and developed by BEREC, specifically associated to connectivity, competition, the role of universal service and consumer protection. Also highlighted was BEREC’s work in this area, such as, for example, what-if meetings with the EC, the workshop, preparatory work for production of an opinion and the Stakeholders Forum scheduled for 15 October in Brussels.
