ANACOM took part last 18-19 November in Brussels, on behalf of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC), in the first meeting of the panel on Harmonisation of Digital Markets (HDM) in the context of European Union (EU) cooperation with members of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The panel was created in the wake of a ministerial declaration approved last June, which established the framework for cooperation initiatives in various areas involving digital markets.
BEREC participated via ANACOM as a key partner with respect to initiatives concerning the approach to the regulatory framework governing the electronic communications sector, particularly in line with the cooperation memorandum established with the Eastern Partnership Regulators Network (EaPeReg).
