A high-level meeting promoted by the Dutch presidency of the EU Council took place on 20 April in Amsterdam, where the theme topic was “Connecting the Internal Market through Modern Regulation”. The discussion focused on several questions concerning the areas of access, radio spectrum, regulation of services and institutional model and on the review of the regulatory framework for electronic communications, which is expected to be presented by the European Commission after the summer.
