Telecom World 2003 assesses the business sector

About 911 exhibitors representing 50 countries were present in the biggest communications event in the world, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the ITU Telecom World 2003, whose last edition took place from 12 to 18 October, in Geneva.

With industry showing signs of recovery from a crisis period, ?restoring confidence? and ?building growth?, in the words of Mr. Yoshio Utsumi, ITU?s Secretary-General, have assumed a particular meaning.

The ITU Telecom World takes place every four years in Geneva, the city where the ITU headquarters are located.
