Rome hosted last 20 March the EMERG plenary meeting, this year chaired by Italy’s sector regulator AGCOM.
This meeting assessed the activities carried out in 2016 and approved the working plan for 2017. Among other points, it also served to adopt the EMERG benchmark report, determine cooperation initiatives with the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC), present the document on the group’s sustainability and confirm members of the permanent secretariat. In 2018 the group will be chaired by the Egyptian regulator (NTRA).
