The Portuguese Committee of URSI has launched a call for papers in preparation for its 11th congress, to be held on 24 November 2017 in Lisbon. The theme of the Congress is "New technologies for mobility".
With the aim of encouraging young Portuguese authors, ANACOM will sponsor the Best Student Paper Award, which will be awarded for the best student paper presented in response to the call for papers on the theme of the congress or on the specified scientific areas. This prize will be awarded to the student who is the selected paper’s first author and also presents it at the Congress. Entries must be submitted by 17 October 2017, with inclusion of the submitted article. ANACOM may require confirmation of the entrant's student status.
The Portuguese Committee of URSI, with sponsorship from ANACOM, will also award the "ANACOM-URSI Portugal Prize", which will be awarded to the best research work in the area of radioelectricity. Applications should be submitted by 17 October 2017.
