The 34th meeting of the project team on Future Numbering Issues of the ECC’s WG NaN was held last 27-28 June in Stockholm, where the attending regulators discussed the latest information regarding numbering, particularly work carried out by other WG NaN PTs and continuation of work on the report concerning use of numbering resources by over-the-top services.
Aspects associated to the eventual provision of information about extraterritorial use of national numbers within CEPT were also debated on a preliminary basis, bearing in mind the objective envisaged in the electronic communications code and principles set out in ECC Recommendation (16)02 https://docdb.cept.org/download/1767.
The next meeting is scheduled for this coming October in Copenhagen.
