On 21 September 2017, ANACOM approved a decision on the request of television operators (specifically SIC - Sociedade Independente de Comunicação, TVI - Televisão Independente and RTP - Rádio e Televisão de Portugal) to access the supplements added to contracts governing the provision of services of codification, multiplexing, carrying and transmitting signals over digital networks and complementary coverage (DTT) as concluded with MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia.
As such, it was determined to allow provision of access, on a joint and simultaneous basis, to a full copy of these supplements.
