The January 2018 issue of the Spectru monthly bulletin reports ANACOM’s attendance of a parliamentary hearing on the situation of Portugal’s CTT postal service, that municipal councils have been asked to submit proposals in the scope of the WiFi4EU initiative, and the decision on deregulation of the market for call origination in the public telephone network at a fixed location for special services supported by non-geographic numbering.
Other highlights include the consultations concerning universal postal service quality parameters and the criteria used by CTT to set prices for the postal services that comprise universal service, as well as the release of third quarter 2017 statistics.
