Approval of the public consultation report on the review of the conditions governing provision of the electronic communications universal service in its various components

By determination of 16 April 2018, ANACOM approved the report of the public consultation held on the review of the conditions governing provision of the universal service of electronic communications in its various components, which includes recommendations to be transmitted to the Government resulting from this consultation.

In response to the public consultation, which took place from 26 June to 31 July 2017, contributions were received from André Abreu, MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia, from NOS, SGPS, on behalf of its subsidaries NOS Comunicações, NOS Açores Comunicações and NOS Madeira Comunicações, from Onitelecom – Infocomunicações and from NOWO Communications (joint contribution ) and from Vodafone Portugal – Comunicações Pessoais.  A further contribution was received from DECO - Associação Portuguesa para a Defesa do Consumidor (Portuguese Consumer Protection Association), but subsequent to the time limit for responses.
