The second meeting of the working group established to study and analyse the most suitable technical and financial configuration for the timely replacement of the submarine cables carrying communications between mainland Portugal, the Azores and Madeira (CAM), was held in ANACOM's headquarters in Lisbon on 16 July 2019.
This second meeting heard presentations and clarifications in relation to projects proposed by EllaLink, Alcatel Submarine Networks and DSTelecom.
The working group also discussed the opportunities for the project to apply for European funds and continued its joint reflection on the actions to be taken to respond to its mandate.
