On 25 July 2019, ANACOM approved the ITED Manual (4th edition) and ITUR Manual (3rd edition) drafts.
The need to respond to ongoing technological developments in the sector, the inevitable updating of European regulatory developments, the clarification and improvement of existing solutions in previous editions, the expected reduction in costs and the response to difficulties experienced by the various players in the infrastructure market, among other reasons, led to the revision and amendment of technical standards for telecommunications infrastructure in buildings (ITED) and telecommunications infrastructure in building lots, urbanisations and building complexes (ITUR).
Taking into account ANACOM's competence to approve the technical standards of ITED and ITUR, pursuant to Article 106 of Decree-Law no. 123/2009https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=975261 of 21 May, as amended and republished by Decree-Law no. 92/2017https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1418606 of 31 July, as well as the need for a general consultation procedure under Article 8 of the Electronic Communications Lawhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=383150, the Authority hereby puts the draft texts of the ITED Manual (4th Edition) and the ITUR Manual (3rd edition) out to public consultation for a period of 30 working days.
Interested parties may submit comments and technical contributions by 10 September 2019 in writing and in Portuguese, preferably by email to entidadesited@anacom.ptmailto:entidadesited@anacom.pt.
Once the consultation process has been completed, the replies received will be available to the public, therefore interested shall also be required to send a version of the reply which removes details considered confidential for publication on this website.
