The BEREC Contact Network met last 12-13 September in Zadar, Croatia, to prepare for the plenary meeting by examining documents submitted by the expert working groups (EWGs).
Among other subjects, the discussion focused on the BEREC working programme for 2020, a study on coverage information in 5G development, the cooperation memoranda between BEREC and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Eastern Partnership Electronic Communications Regulators Network (EaPeReg), the consultation document and the guidelines on implementation of the Open Internet Regulation. Other matters considered included the report on implementation of Regulation (EU) 2015/2120 and the net neutrality guidelines, as well as the BEREC guidelines for helping national regulatory authorities consistently apply the geographical surveys.
