On 17 January 2020, ANACOM approved the decision on the identification of the entities required to contribute to the compensation fund of the universal electronic communications service and the setting of the value of the contributions related to the net costs of the universal service to be compensated for 2018.
The report on the prior hearing to which the respective draft decisionhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1498676, approved on 05 December 2019, was submitted, was also approved under the ambit of which contributions were received from the following entities: CTT - Correios de Portugal; MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia; Grupo NOS (NOS Comunicações, NOS Madeira Comunicações, and NOS Açores Comunicações); and Vodafone Portugal - Comunicações Pessoais.
