Notification to the European Commission of the draft decision on the analysis of electronic communications markets for trunk segments of leased lines

By decision of 14 November 2023, ANACOM approved the draft decision to be notified to the European Commission, the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) and the national regulatory authorities of the other Member States of the European Union, on the analysis of electronic communications markets for trunk segments of leased lines - definition of product and geographic markets, assessment of significant market power and imposition, maintenance, amendment or withdrawal of regulatory obligations.

ANACOM also approved the report on the prior hearing and public consultation to which the corresponding draft decision, adopted on 26 Aprilhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1744792, was subject, following the timely submission of comments by the following entities; Onitelecom – Infocomunicações; Vodafone Portugal – Comunicações Pessoais; MEO – Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia; FastFiber – Infraestruturas de Comunicações; and NOS – Comunicações.
