MEO's cost accounting system (financial year 2021)

By decision of 14 November 2023, and following the audit of the results of the cost accounting system (CAS) of MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia (MEO) for 2021, ANACOM approved the prior hearing report and the statement of compliance of the CAS regarding the market for wholesale local access provided at a fixed location, the market for wholesale central access provided at a fixed location for consumer products and the market for high-quality electronic communications provided at a fixed location (access and trunk segments), for 2021, as well as the update of determinations on this system which will apply from 2023.

The publication in the Official Gazette of the notice on the aforementioned statement of compliance of the CAS with the applicable regulatory provisions was also approved.
