On 7 February 2024, ANACOM approved the revision of fees due for carrying out the activity of postal service provider in 2022, having received information on the value of the relevant income of the company Vasta Seleção, Comércio & Serviços, for the year 2021.
Thus, the correction of the value of the relevant income affected the value of the t2 rate, which decreased from 0.2591% to 0.2589%, resulting in the reimbursement of the overcharged amounts in proportion to the relevant income used to calculate the fees already paid.
The new T2 contribution rate implies a revision of the 2022 settlement made to postal service providers, which ANACOM will apply immediately.
