The ?International Presence? area of this site was reorganized, in order to facilitate information on the outcomes of the international meetings ANACOM participates, within the scope of its own competences as national regulatory authority (NRA) - with particular emphasis to the meetings of the Independent Regulators Group (IRG) and the European Regulators Group (ERG) - and also in representation of the Portuguese State (intergovernmental organizations).
This area has available summaries of the meetings or seminars which are regularly followed by ANACOM, as well as the situation of the transpositions into the internal legal order of the basic instruments of the relevant organizations.
ANACOM participates periodically in the meetings of several working groups within the scope of the European Union (UE), the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunication Administrations (CEPT), the International Telecommunication Union (UIT) and the Universal Postal Union (UPU), among other organizations.
