The 7th meeting of the Postal Directive Committee was held on 12 July in Brussels, where the participants discussed the second Postal Directive implementation report and the actions to carry out in 2006.
Also presented were the conclusions of a study on the introduction in the member States of the service quality standards of the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN), a study produced by a project team under the European Committee for Postal Regulation (CERP).
The collection and publication of statistics on the sector was also considered at this meeting.
