OCG ECN&S Group - Sophia Antipolis

The ninth meeting of the OCG ECN&S group of ETSI was held on 13 June at the organisation?s headquarters in Sophia Antipolis.

The meeting was attended by standardisation experts from the regulators as well as some representatives of the ETSI technical committees, namely the STQ (Speech Processing, Transmission and Quality Aspects), SES (Satellite Earth Stations and Systems) and TISPAN, which focuses on migration from the lines network to packet-based networks.

The list of standards was subject to debate; the proposed new version of ETSI SR 002 211 should be considered at the 10th OCG ECN&S meeting, scheduled for 23 August.

Note the availability of three documents on interoperability, from the perspectives of the European Commission, ETSI and Alcatel. These three documents were presented at the ?S.O.S. Interoperability? workshop held by ETSI on 26 May 2005.
