Summary: This report contains the main statistical results of the survey on the use of information and communication technologies by families, made by INE and UMIC in 2005 and analyses, among other items, the use of computers by Portuguese households, existing Internet accesses, Internet presence from home, the use of electronic commerce, and the users’ profiles in connection with each of these items.
