The first meeting of the Authorisations Working Group of the Communications Committee (COCOM) was held on 9 June in Brussels, where the participants debated the group?s terms of reference (ToR) and considered matters associated to wireless access platforms for electronic communications services (WAPECS), the use of mobile phones (GSM system) in aircraft and mobile multimedia broadcasting.
