Leased lines (Preliminary agreement)

By resolution on the 29th of November 2001, the preliminary agreement on significant market power (SMP) in the leased circuits market for the year 2001 was approved, for which the opinion of the General Directorate of Trade and Competition (Direcção-Geral do Comércio e da Concorrência - DGCC) had been requested. According to no.1 of article 21 of the Regulations for Operation of the Public Telecommunications Networks, it is the responsibility of the ICP to annually establish and declare the list of operators that hold significant market power in that market, subsequent to the aforementioned opinion.
