Fixed telephone networks and/or fixed telephone services, leased lines, interconnection and mobile telephone networks and/or mobile telephone services

Upon determination of 3 August 2000, and subsequent to consulting the Directorate-General for Trade and Competition under the terms of Article 7 of  Decree-Law no. 415/98 of 31 December, the following were declared as having significant market power:

1. Portugal Telecom, S.A., or the entity legally succeeding it as a concessionaire, in the domestic interconnection market, in the market for fixed telephone networks and/or fixed telephone services and in the leased lines market.

2. TMN - Telecomunicações Móveis Nacionais, S.A., and Telecel - Comunicações Pessoais, S.A., in the market for mobile telephone networks and/or mobile telephone services.
