PT Comunicações's Cost Accounting System
Statement of Compliance
By determination of July 31, 2002 and following an audit of PT Comunicações's cost accounting system's of the 2000 financial year results, PT Comunicações S.A.'s cost accounting system for leased lines service was declared to be in compliance with the obligations laid down in Article 10(2) of Directive 92/44/EC, with the wording given by Paragraph b) of Article 2(10) of Directive 97/51/EC, and Article 29(3) of the Regulations for the Exploitation of Public Telecommunications Networks (Decree-Law no. 290-A/99, of July 30). In this context some particular alterations to the system were determined, besides those alterations and recomendations resulting from previous audits.
