The Contact Network of the Independent Regulators Group (IRG) and European Regulators Group (ERG) met last 5-6 February in Vienna and debated issues such as the review of the regulatory framework for electronic communications, the experts group established under article 7 and the progress made by the project teams, specifically the most recent developments with next generation access (NGA) networks, the current status of the VoIP Action Plan, the reports on tariff transparency and fixed-mobile convergence. The European Commission provided information on the recommendations involving termination charges and NGAs.
