The Communications Committee (COCOM) met last 18 February in Brussels and debated the European Commission's proposed recommendation on termination charges. This did not obtain a favourable position from the Committee, with 12 votes against, 5 for and 10 abstentions. Also debated were application of the European 112 single emergency number, implementation of the 116 numbers for social services and the selection of additional numbers, and the most recent market analysis notifications.
