The average annual price of the basket of circuits offered by PT Comunicações (PTC) fell by 47 per cent between 1998 and 2003, as revealed by a study of price evolution carried out by the National Communications Authority (ANACOM).
According to this study, during the period in question the value of a monthly subscription to (national and international) digital circuits decreased by 49%.
With regard to the average subscription price, international digital circuits registered a fall of 45%.
The information gathered relates to the price for the installation of and monthly subscription to analogue and digital circuits in the categories covering local, national ?route? (circuits between Lisbon-Oporto, Lisbon-Coimbra and Lisbon-Faro), CAM (Mainland-Azores-Madeira) and international circuits.
