Following initial contacts in 1996, a Memorandum of Understanding was formalized in March 1998 with the National Communications Authority (NHH), under which the two entities have carried out actions to drive the gradual progress of the sector in both countries.
In particular, cooperation took place in Hungary in June 2008 with respect to the various activities of monitoring and control of the spectrum. In a second phase, this time in Portugal, a team from the Hungarian regulator joined in the daily activity of monitoring and control of the spectrum of ANACOM's Spectrum Management Directorate.
