Withdrawal of allocation of frequencies granted to RNT

By determination of 20 May 2009, ANACOM approved the report of the prior hearing granted to RNT - Rede Nacional de Telecomunicações, and, accordingly, decided to withdraw the measure, taken on 7 January 2009, that allocated to that company the right of use for frequencies for the provision of a publicly available mobile terrestrial service.

This decision involves also the forfeit to this Authority of the provisional security given by RNT, pursuant to article 5 of Regulation no. 474/2008, of 22 August (Regulation of the tender for the allocation of a right of use for frequencies in the 450-470 MHz band).
