The European Commission (EC) has launched an online consultation service that will remain in place up until 3 July 2009 concerning the first analytical report of the responses to the consultation of the Green Paper on consumer collective redress, via which it intends to collect additional information, particularly with respect to national system resources, in order to assess the impact of the political options on this matter.
DG SANCO (Directorate General for Health and Consumer Affairs) held a hearing on 29 May within the scope of the consultation process, fixing the objective of introducing the consultation document and gathering feedback from the various stakeholders (companies, consumers and relevant public entities).
