By determination of 14 October 2009, ANACOM approved the auction regulation for the allocation of rights of use for frequencies for broadband wireless access (BWA) in the 3400-3600 and 3600-3800 MHz bands, as well as the report of the regulatory and general consultation procedure, to which the respective draft regulation was submitted.
It was also decided to publish a guide on auction procedures, which includes several examples so as to clarify issues concerning the auction functioning, as well as to hold a public briefing session on 10 November 2009.
ANACOM’s Management Board determined furthermore to extend technical trials in bands at stake until 31 December 2009.
