Quality of service levels of CTT (2008)


Based on the audit ordered by this Authority to verify the levels of quality of service provided by  CTT - Correios de Portugal, with reference to 2008, by determination of 31 March 2010, ANACOM decided to approve and publish the respective report.  Approval was likewise given to the determinations and recommendations which set out to improve the system of monitoring the indicators of quality of service and CTT’s complaints handling system.

This decision is made pursuant to the Base Law of Postal Services, according to which ANACOM is bound to conduct, in a way that is independent from the universal service provider (CTT), verification of the levels of quality of services actually provided, the results of which verification shall be the subject of a report published at least once annually.  This Authority is also charged with ensuring that the company publishes information on the overall number of complaints and on the way in which they were handled, along with the annual report on the verification of the levels of quality of services actually provided by CTT.
